1The applicant should continuously pay the premium through to the end of the premium payment period and holds the policy until the end of the policy contract. If the policy is terminated before the end of the contract, the applicant may not receive cash benefit in the amount equivalent to the maximum policy benefit he/she is entitled to, or in the amount equivalent to all premiums paid.

Premium of life insurance is eligible for tax deduction up to THB 100,000 per year (according to the discretion of the Revenue Department).

The company will pay death benefit to the beneficiary equal to % of sum assured and dividend (if any) from the 2nd policy year onwards

  • 3rd policy year : Receive 330% of sum assured
  • 4th policy year : Receive 440% of sum assured
  • 5th – 15th policy year : Receive 550% of sum assured

Example of dividend calculation 

  • Participation rate (PR) in dividend is the rate of participation in returns resulting from changes in the benchmark index on the investment start date and the last day of the investment at the rate of 50%.
  • Max (0, Index level on the final valuation day/Index level on the initial valuation date - 100%) refers to changes in the benchmark index between the final valuation date and the initial valuation date), and changes in an average return of the benchmark index will not be less than 0, on the average of -1.00%, 3.00%, 5.00% per year.
  • Example: Exchange rate on the initial valuation day = THB 36.40 per USD 1

  1. The policy issue date is the date on which the company approves the insurance application.
  2. Index level on the initial valuation date is the level of the index on the investment start date (calculated within 45 days from the policy issue date).
  3. The exchange rate on the initial valuation date is the exchange rate on the investment start date (calculated within 45 days from the policy issue date).
  4. The company has a policy to invest in the benchmark index within 45 days from the policy issue date and will calculate the value of the final valuation date within 45 days before the maturity date.
  5. If final index valuation date falls on a fund weekend or a fund holiday, the valuation will be made on the next business day.

Premium Payment Method

 
  • Premiums must be paid annually.
  • The first-year premium can be paid by cash, cheque, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard or JBC).
  • Renewal premiums can be paid by cash, cheque, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard or JBC). You can pay renewal premiums by automatic direct debit from bank’s account as well. To set up direct debit from your bank account to pay your renewal premium, you need to confirm your bank account’s details by filling in a direct debit mandate in an application form. And the renewable premiums will be debited starting from the next premium due date.
