BASIC BANKING ACCOUNT

Eligibility & Requirements

• Saving deposit for applicable to holder of state welfare smart card or individual aged 65 or more as of the account opening date
• Applicable for individuals who hold a state welfare smart card, or are 65 years old or more, as of the account opening date.
• An account passbook is required as evidence in each deposit, withdrawal or transfer transaction.
• This account is for accessing other services, eg. for making interest transfers, paying public utilities, etc.
• Interest will be credited on the last business day of June and December, with deduction of withholding tax as prescribed by the Revenue Department. If the outstanding balance at the end of the day is lower than 500 Baht, the interest will not be credited on that day. Interest is subject to the Bank's latest announcement on interest rates.
• If there is no activity in the account for over two consecutive years (24 months), the account status shall be changed to inactive. Customers may contact any branch to reactivate the account.
