Language Learning Center at Pimanwitt School, Khaosan Road and "Once in a life time...be a volunteer teacher" Activity

Another bank's proud project, as suggested by the manager from Deves branch, Pimanwitt School, a small school resided in the tourist hub Khaosan Rd. was a school with 90 years of history. The bank aimed to create a language classroom with modern classrooms and equipments for pre-school to primary school students. In addition, the project also received support from Srinakarinwirot University which supplied supplementary teachers for subjects which were still lacking. As such, on August 15, 2014, the day the learning center was launched, the bank also held a campaign, "Once in a lifetime...Be a volunteer teacher" in which the bank's executives, led by Mr. Supak Siwaruk, the Chairman and CEO, and Mr. Narongchai Wongtanawimok, the Vice- Chairman, together with employees from the bank and its subsidiaries—approximately for 30 people—volunteered as teachers, teaching English, art, music and craftsmanship to the school's students.
