ICT Center and the refurbishing of a building at Baan Thung Yai School, Phu Kradueng, Loei Province

The project included the renovation of a school building—from 1-storey to 2—construction of a computer learning center, the supply of teachers, devising the curriculum for 1 year and setting up Internet connectivity for students to enable them to enjoy the privilege of access to information, just as urban students do. Not limited only to the students, more than 300 households of Thung Yai community were also educated and could now use the Internet for the benefits of their own professions such as checking the price of agricultural products and weather reports. The project was successfully delivered, marked by a warm welcome from both students and the community.
