Currently, Tengku Dato’ Sri Azmil Zahruddin bin Raja Abdul Aziz (“Tengku Dato’ Sri Azmil Zahruddin”) is the Board Chairman, Non-Executive Director and Alternate Chairman of the Nomination, Remuneration and Corporate Governance Committee of CIMB Thai Bank PCL. He is a Non-Independent Director of CIMB Group Holdings Berhad, a Non-Executive Director of Sime Darby Berhad, and Chairman of the Board of CelcomDigi Berhad. Tengku Dato’ Sri Azmil Zahruddin is also a member of the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board.

 

Formerly the Chief Investment Officer at Khazanah Nasional Berhad (“Khazanah”), the sovereign wealth fund of Malaysia, he served Khazanah in various senior positions such as Deputy Managing Director and Executive Director of Investments since 2011. Tengku Dato’ Sri Azmil Zahruddin was also the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Airlines, and was previously Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that he was in multiple leadership roles at Penerbangan Malaysia Berhad and PricewaterhouseCoopers in London and Hong Kong.
