Saving Cattle Project at Wat Yannawa, Bangkok

In honor of the 2,600th Anniversary of Lord Buddha’s Enlightenment as well as His Majesty the King’s 85thBirthday Anniversary, His Majesty the Queen’s 80th Birthday Anniversary and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn’s 60th Birthday Anniversary, CIMB Thai Bank, Wat Yannawa and the Department of Livestock Development joined hands to host the “Saving Cattle” ceremony on the first Saturday of every month. CIMB Thai Bank’s customers and the general public were invited to join in the fundraising to purchase livestock from slaughterhouses and donate them to the Department of Livestock Development under the “Royal Cattle-Buffalo Bank for Farmers (RCBB)”. The spared livestock would be under the care of the Department of Livestock Development for the rest of their lives, without returning to slaughterhouses again, and would be loaned to poor farmers for farming. Additionally, CIMB Thai staff have also been volunteering by preparing donation receipts for donators on the first Saturday of every month.

Account for donation: CIMB Thai Bank Bangrak Branch, Savings Account No. 006-2-28299-9, Account’s Name "Wat Yannawa (Saving Cattle)"
