CIMB THAI PromptPay is a new form of fund receipt/transfer service that will make your fund receipt/transfer easier with no more need to recall account no.

Get Prompt before Taking Service

1 national ID card number or 1 mobile number can be tied to 1 account only.

1 account can be tied to both national ID card number and mobile number.

1 account can be tied to up to 4 numbers: 1 national ID card number and 3 mobile numbers.

PromptPay service can be registered with CIMB THAI individual savings or current account only. Joint account and corporate account cannot be used.

No fees incurred during application and cancellation processes in all cases.

Eligibility & Requirements

In case of sign-up with national ID card number:

 

  1. National ID card
  2. Passbook or number of CIMB THAI savings or current account (individual type only)

 

In case of sign-up with mobile number:

 

  1. National ID card / Passport
  2. Passbook or number of CIMB THAI savings or current account (individual type only)
  3. Mobile phone and number to be tied to PromptPay for receipt of an OTP
  4. Document to prove mobile number ownership (in case of new number never notified Bank before), e.g. billing statement
