Asaraf Aboo Bakar (center) General Manager, CIMB Bank London Branch as a representative of CIMB Thai Bank received 'Crisis Management Strategy of the Year' Award for 2012 from the reputed CIR (Continuity Insurance & Risk) magazine. The CIR Award was in recognition of the resilience and resourcefulness demonstrated in managing the political situations and Thai flood crisis. This is a prestigious win because CIMB Thai competed against global competition including SunGard, S.W.I.F.T, KPMG LLP UK. Credit must be given to all involved, Crisis Management Committee, Crisis Coordination Team, Business Continuity Management, Front Office and Back Office that worked as one to ensure continuity in service to our customers and safety of our staff.
